The Anatomy
of a Sharp Look

Study the lines before you wear the clothes. Every detail matters — from the shoulder seam to where the tie lands.

Two-Button Suit Anatomy
Shoulder seam at the edge. Half-inch shirt cuff visible. Tie tip at the belt buckle. Only the top button fastened — never the bottom.

Module 5 - Business Casual
Blazer + Chinos + Loafers
The power combo. Open collar Oxford shirt, well-cut chinos, brown leather loafers. Belt matches the shoe. Every time.

Module 2 - Ties
The Half Windsor Knot
Symmetrical, medium-sized, works on every collar. The only knot you need to know at your age. Tip touches the top of the belt buckle.

Module 3 - Belt & Shoes
The Match You Can't Break
Black belt with black Oxfords. Brown belt with brown loafers. Match the buckle metal to your watch. Zero exceptions.

The Laws of
Dressing Well

01
Belt always matches shoes
Black leather shoes = black belt. Brown shoes = brown belt. The buckle metal matches your watch too. This is the most visible mistake men make and the easiest one to fix.
02
Fit beats price every time
A $100 suit that fits is sharper than a $600 suit that doesn't. Get it tailored. A tailor costs $25–50 and completely transforms the way a suit looks on your body.
03
Show your shirt cuff
Half an inch of shirt cuff should show below your jacket sleeve. None showing means the jacket is too long. This single detail signals you know what you're doing.
04
Tie tip at the belt buckle
The tip of your tie lands at the top of your belt buckle — not above, not below. Tuck the narrow blade into the keeper loop at the back of the wide blade.
05
Three colours maximum
Any outfit uses no more than three colours. Navy, white, grey, and brown are neutrals and don't count. More than three starts looking unintentional and busy.
06
Never button the bottom button
On a two-button suit, only the top button is fastened when standing. Bottom stays open — always. On a three-button: middle button only. This is a hard rule.

Module 4 - Color Theory

Suit Color &
What Goes With It

Start with the suit and build outward. These combinations always work — no second-guessing needed.

Module 5 - Business Casual

The Unwritten
Rules, Written Down

Business casual doesn't mean casual. It means intentional — without the tie. Here's exactly what that looks like.

Wear This
Well-fitted chinos in navy, khaki, grey, or olive
Tucked, pressed Oxford button-down shirt
Navy or charcoal blazer over a collared shirt
Brown leather loafers or clean Chelsea boots
Clean polo shirt in a solid, neutral colour
Belt always matches shoes — even when casual
Never This
Jeans — even dark wash, even under a blazer
Graphic tees or any visible logo clothing
Trainers or sneakers with chunky soles
Hoodies or zip-up sweatshirts of any kind
Shorts — regardless of the weather
Wrinkled or visibly unironed clothing
